The 12,000 lb Car Lift with 4HP Motor does require a dedicated 220V circuit, so we recommend having a licensed electrician confirm your garage wiring before delivery. The hydraulic ramp lift and portable lift have simpler power requirements, making them easier to set up in most home garages. We suggest reviewing the product spec sheet for exact electrical requirements.
Most two-post lifts require a minimum ceiling height of around 11 to 12 feet to safely raise a standard vehicle to full working height. Measure your garage ceiling before ordering, and account for any overhead beams or door rails that could interfere.
